As I approach my birthday I've been having a lot of memories from when I was a young child. Some strange, like remembering a drive our family took when we moved to Manitoba and some serene, a blissful vision of a meadow with horses on a warm summer day.
I've been thinking about spirituality and art a lot lately too. Watching mad amounts of documentaries. I suggest this site pretty good selection gets updated often
topdocumentary films Also thinking about creativity of people too, thinking about intellectual property and street art. Artistic ability and creativeness, it seems to me that some just have those traits and others do not. Same with spirituality, you either subscribe to the notion of a soul or God or Mother Earth or you do not, or perhaps about both things we are all just a bit confused? I would even go one further and say were all confused about everything.
It's kinda like the jury is out, humanity as a species are having growing pains from all this consumer culture and technology and from a disconnect of sorts. I guess I describe it as feeling separated from nature and desiring expression of "real" emotions, wanting so badly to "believe" in something or to truly create something. I think that is a huge part of what we as humanity has to hold onto, finding the beauty and reverence for nature and keeping grounded in this day of lightning quick information and the cyber world at the press of a button.
Going to leave you with a couple poems today they seemed fitting.

We created firmness and victory reflecting the gods
The brilliant ones
Those graced,
Angelic
And from this advanced the foundation
The flame
The kingdom both feminine and receptive
And masculine or transmitting
With regard to the hidden influence
Like a magnetic pull of two mirror opposites
Balance
Each trinity is a dual of opposite
Sexes and unity, intelligence
The result is Libra two scales of balance
A great beam of light unites them
The heavenly and earthly entities
The sun, the moon
Finding numeration, constellations
Giving birth to geometric
The wheel
The commencement of whirling motion, spinning
Spirals, triangles, spheres
The galaxy Premium Mobile
Sphere of the Zodiac
Saturn, Rest
Righteousness, Jupiter
Intense strength, Mars
The solar light, the Sun
Glittering splendor, Venus
The stellar light, Mercury
And so on through the stars
The lunar flame, the Moon
The breaker of foundations, the elements
Archetypal man, Protogenos
Many worlds were created and destroyed
Until there was born a perfect world,
Three different dimensions
Each with a descending scale of brightness
First the world of creation, purest in nature, intellect
A world without matter, only being
Then the moral world, soul
The world of angels, a world of formation still without matter
Next came the material world, body
The world of action, of shells, made of elements
Mystery revealed and concealed
The place made for understanding

My Belief System What is this place? Bumpin' atoms within the vast space,
The real in all we see yet cannot know,
but with the minds eye everything comes clear,
like music ringing in ones ears,
a beating of hearts,
the cosmic rhythm.
All stretching and recoiling,
growing children losing innocence,
shrinking elders yearning for the lost.
The want for other souls to swim with,
floating, traveling, expanding existence, together.
Through a sharing of these electric type energies conveyed in this part of each living thing.
This desire to be at peace,
what is this perception of soul?
This ultimate and infinite need to know the source of this energy,
to reunite with it for sanctuary.
To know for certain what one is.
That is for each soul to uncover and rediscover,
through every moment,
every day spent sharing, giving, taking, listening, talking, touching, feeling, learning, teaching and the greatest knowledge of it, loving.
In these things lies the purpose,
exploring ideas, evolving the species.
Through sharing ideas and making peace.
In every action one takes with another living thing,
we are all bound to one another.
In every encounter we affect each other, no matter how brief.
Bumpin' and grinding atoms, pure energy,
defined light and although still within the physical,
understanding the great scheme of all life metaphysically.
One must become a master of essence, asking the right questions. However words or thoughts alone have no meaning without emotion, and feeling behind them, life is hollow and empty without it.
Seek with your whole self, seek to become whole, leave nothing unexplored, for the bliss that comes when we feel the connection to the universe and understand the force which holds it all together is found within all of us.
